Terms of Business
The Terms of Business below form the ‘Customer Services Contract’ agreement between G.I. Landscapes Ltd. trading as UKGritBins and our Customers:
Delivery Policy:
Each order is taken is subject to delivery charges charged at a rate £39.95+vat for Mainland England and Wales, £59.95 for Mainland Scotland and £82.50 for each pallet required. We deliver locally with our own delivery vehicles and nationally using third party logistics companies. We normally dispatch your order within 7 to 10 working days after receipt of cleared funds, but it may take longer at busy times. Our dispatch team do not work on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays; this means we do not ship on these days.
Deliveries are subject to stock availability.
Telephone orders:
If you need assistance placing your order by telephone please phone Customer Services on the following number (open 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday) 0800 0323 972. Our operators are properly trained and will be able to assist you in your choices.
Cancellation Policy:
After we have received payment for your goods we will contact you by telephone and/or email to arrange a mutually convenient delivery date and time. Cancellation of the delivery must be made 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery time to ensure a full refund, if however we receive cancellation after this we will charge a cancellation fee of £39.95+vat or the equivalent to the delivery charge, whichever is the greater.
How can I pay for goods and services over the web?
We accept Visa, Visa Delta, MasterCard, Maestro (Switch), Visa Electron, Solo and American Express accept Visa Electron or Solo via PayPal for purchases on this site. Like any other shop we require full payment for all purchase and transport costs before goods can be released.
What is PayPal?
The fast, secure way to send and receive money.
For customers, it’s a faster, safer and more convenient way to pay for goods – because you don’t have to re-enter financial information every time you buy. You pay from your PayPal account (which is free to set up) which PayPal then ‘refills’ by drawing on their credit card, debit card or bank account. In this way you can pay quickly and easily without disclosing financial information.

- Debit cards (also known as echeque cards or bank cards) are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo.
Paying by Cheque:
We accept company and personal cheques. If you wish to pay by cheque, this will need to be cleared before we dispatch the goods. Please make your cheque payable to ‘UK GritBins’ and send it with your order to: UKGritBins, 16 West Drive, Cheam, Surrey. SM2 7NA. If you pay by cheque it may take up to ten days to process and dispatch your order subject to stock availability. Please do not send cash or postal orders for mail order purchases.
Please ensure that we have a telephone contact number for you in case of any discrepancies.
Please remember to include the cost of delivery for all orders processed via cheque and please add this to cost of your order.
Paying by Bank Transfer:
We accept payment by bank transfer. If you wish to pay by bank transfer, this will need to be cleared funds defore we dispatch the goods. Please make your transfers to ‘UKGritBins’ and send your payment to:

Returns Policy:
If you decide you no longer wish to keep the goods you have purchased we will refund, exchange or offer a credit note for the product(s) if you return the goods, at your own expense, unopened, within 14 days of receiving your order. Where goods are faulty, or were sent in error, we will refund any postage costs you incur returning the items.
It is your responsibility to return items to us; We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods whilst they are being returned.
All returned goods will be examined upon receipt. We are unable to offer refunds, replacements or exchanges on any opened or used goods. We will process your return as quickly as possible and will notify you by email once your refund, replacement or exchange has been processed, no later than 7 working days after we have received the goods. Please note that delivery charges are not refunded. Without exception, we will not accept returns on open or used items, unless the item is faulty.
Refunds will be made to the card that was used in the original purchase or a cheque made payable to the cardholder if the card is no longer valid. In the case of cheque payment a cheque will be issued payable to the original customer. You must follow our instructions for returning goods (see below).
Instructions for Returning Goods
Include the delivery note or a copy of your email invoice with the goods, and details about why you are returning the goods.
